Say Bye-Bye to Burnout for Good

Get to the bottom of your burnout with this 4-lesson e-course from Dr. Jess

Want the secret to burnout proofing your career?

For most people, it comes down to two things: beliefs around work (expectation vs reality) and life management (capacity and skill).

It seems most of us only have basic to intermediate capabilities in these areas. It’s not our fault - culturally we are taught not to address these issues until we are severely struggling. We grin and bear it and give a little more of ourselves to compensate and hope no one notices. Then we end up more burned out because we never get the relief we convinced ourselves was coming. Then the stuckness takes over.

How do I know? If we haven’t met yet, I’m Dr. Jess and I’ve been burned out, too. That’s why I chose to study the topic, earning my doctorate in Business Psychology in 2019. Since then, I’ve focused my career on helping others build healthy -burnout-free- careers and businesses.

When I was completely drained and feeling stuck, I wanted to blame “the man” and “the corporate machine” for it all - and to be fair, we have a very flawed system when it comes to ideas like balance and wellness, but…

I understand that major change to the corporate system - like my dream of a 4-day work week - is the long game, and people need relief now. So, I started to come up with ways for my clients to work better within the system we have.

That’s why my approach to teaching about burnout is different. It’s also why it works. Because it’s practical and focuses on things you have influence over to help maximize a healthy career based on who you are.

This course brings together my most used burnout-busting tips into an easy-to-consume digital format to help you say bye-bye to burnout for good.

“I found your series to be really thought provoking.
It makes you assess your presumptions on work and a career.  You’ve done this in a way that’s compassionate and open, that reveals how a career can be and should be tailored to your personality and your strengths.

The e-course brings up the question of do you really know the WHY are you doing what you do, and maybe fundamentally more importantly allowing oneself to take a step back and assess if that is really fulfilling, and sustainable.  That is a space that I don’t think we give ourselves, in most cases, until we are already burned out.”
